He has negotiated high-value transactions with Fortune 500 companies, led legal and operational teams through global expansion initiatives, and developed risk management and compliance programs tailored to dynamic business environments.
David is known for aligning legal strategy with business objectives, providing clients with practical and forward-thinking counsel. He brings deep experience structuring deals, resolving disputes, and advising management on matters ranging from day-to-day operations to long-term growth planning. His unique background as both an attorney and a former Certified Public Accountant allows him to offer a dual perspective that supports sound decision-making across legal and financial dimensions.
He earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from The University of Texas School of Law and holds both a Master in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. David has also studied at University College London and has spoken at conferences in the U.S. and Europe on topics including legal technology, data privacy, and legal department innovation.
David and his family live in his hometown of Houston, where he is active in the legal and business community. He has presented internationally on legal innovation and compliance, served on professional standards committees, and volunteered as a youth coach and Cub Scout leader. He is a Fellow of the American Leadership Forum and a board member for the nonprofit Houston Center for Musical Arts.
