Gemma Burkarth

Gemma Burkarth is an Intern at Jordon Voytek. She is a soon-to-be graduate of Fairfield Ludlowe High School, in Fairfield, Connecticut, with High Honors. She plans to attend Fairfield University in the fall, majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Marketing, while also involved in Fairfield’s Pre-Law Program.

Gemma has also been involved in her school’s choir program as a seasoned singer for all four years. In Choir, as a senior she is a member of Bel Canto, the school’s most rigorous treble-voiced ensemble it has to offer. Over the years, she has performed at Radio City Music Hall alongside her peers to open for the Radio City Rockettes. She has also performed with her choir at Disney World’s Disney Springs, this past March marking her second performance there. In addition, Gemma has been a member of the school’s theatre program for all four years as well, acting in five of her school’s productions and receiving a nomination for the Halos Robe Award honoring a member of each school’s ensemble for their above and beyond efforts.

Gemma works chiefly as an After School Staff at Wakeman Boys & Girls Club in Southport, Connecticut, watching students K-8 in the Club’s After School program. She is also a member of her school’s National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and National Latin Honor Society, tutoring students in subjects where they need assistance.

Gemma enjoys thrifting, listening to music, and photography. She is most elated to have her internship experience at Jordon Voytek!
