Kimberly graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and also works part time as a behavioral therapist for autistic children.
Kimberly and her husband are licensed wildlife rehabilitators in the state of Connecticut. They rescue orphaned, abandoned, or injured baby animals and care for them until they can be released back into their natural habitat. Raccoons, especially, have stolen their hearts, and they spend their free time caring for their rotating cast of unconventional “children” until they are ready to go out into the world on their own.
